Meet Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer 2026

TESS BOND

Over the past four years, Tess has led “Project: It’s So Fluffy”, an initiative dedicated to ending animal abuse through education, advocacy, and community involvement. Centered on three key pillars: Shelter Support, Animal Abuse Prevention, and Foster Advocacy, she has organized donation drives across the state, delivered classroom presentations on responsible pet care, and created educational content for young audiences.

Most recently, Tess partnered with the The Gleam Co, to assist with a calendar photoshoot featuring Washington County shelter pets alongside Derby Days Soapbox Car drivers to promote pet adoption. As Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer, Tess is excited to launch her dance studio tour and school tour across Maryland to introduce her original children's book, Lily’s Big Journey, which encourages conversations about kindness, empathy, and animal abuse prevention.
