The Miss Volunteer America Pageant is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and providers of scholarship assistance for young women. Founded by a group of dedicated volunteers in Jackson, Tennessee, the organization was created with the mission of educating and inspiring the next generation of volunteers. Since then, Miss Volunteer America has continued to grow, supporting young women in their pursuit of higher education while emphasizing the importance of community service.

As an official state program, the Miss Maryland Volunteer Organization proudly carries out this mission at the state level. We provide young women across Maryland with opportunities to earn scholarships, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
